Pondus- Ebusco is shortlisted as finalist for the JEC Innovation awards

Every year, JEC Composites hosts the JEC Innovation Awards to highlight and celebrate some of the most boundary-pushing technologies and innovations within the composites segment and we have good news! This year, Pondus and Ebusco have been nominated as a finalist for the JEC Innovation Awards in the category: Automotive & Road transportation. The winners will be announced during the JEC Connect online event, 1 – 2 June.

Our nomination
The Ebusco 3.0 bus series breaks the barriers of current bus design in our drive for sustainable public transport. Not only by using composite materials in the main structure of the body, but also in its approach to focus the design on passenger comfort, driver support and Total Cost of Ownership. Finally, it contributes to make the world we live in a safer and healthier place. With continuing urbanization and the end of the fossil fuel era, innovation is key. The Ebusco 3.0 series is a true example of innovation: ultra-light weight, zero emission, low noise and increased life span. All buses within the 3.0 series are based on the same composite building method and we will start this unique series off with the 3.0 12-meter bus.
