ING provides growth capital to Ebusco®

HELMOND – ING acquires a minority stake in EBUSCO, pioneer of electric buses in Helmond. The bank also provides financial backing.

EBUSCO was launched in 2012 with the development of an electric bus from Helmond, thanks to an innovation credit from the Ministry of Economic Affairs of 4.5 million euros. The company of Peter Bijvelds and Walter Luijten assembles the in Helmond designed buses in China.
At first EBUSCO delivered electric buses in Norway. But recently booked orders in the Netherlands. Ten buses in Utrecht and two in Groningen. Earlier this year the company scored an order for eight buses for public transportation in Paris, commissioned by transport group Transdev.
