Ebusco wins new German customer

First Ebusco 2.2 18-metre buses to Germany

Deurne, 23 December 2021 – Ebusco (Euronext: EBUS), a pioneer and frontrunner in the development of electric buses and charging systems, has signed a contract with Infra Fürth Verkehr GmbH for three 18-metre Ebusco 2.2 buses. This is the first order in Germany for Ebusco’s 18-metre buses. The delivery of the 18-metre Ebusco 2.2 buses is planned for the end of 2022.

As a provider of transport services for the Fürth region, Infra Fürth has been a pioneer in mobility since the beginning. Infra Furth is the regional partner for all energy issues and services related to life in the city of Fürth, including public bus transport.

The purchase of three new electric 18-metre buses fits perfectly with Infra Fürth’s sense of responsibility for the city of Fürth and the people who live there. Comfort for passengers has been taken into account with USB ports and wifi.

One of the reasons for choosing Ebusco was the fact that Ebusco’s maintenance partner AGK Fürth is located at the same site as Infra Fürth. This ensures that maintenance and repair can always be organised competently and quickly.

Wolfgang Hackauf, Key Account Manager Germany: “We are delighted to welcome Infra Fürth as a customer. We greatly appreciate their trust and look forward to further cooperation. The fact that Ebusco invests in its after-sales network clearly paid off in this process.”

Ebusco has been active in the German market since 2017 and already operates 54 buses in Germany, including cities such as Munich, Bonn and Frankfurt.
