Deurne, the Netherlands, 9 August 2026 – Ebusco Holding N.V. (Euronext: EBUS) notes the press release published on 7 August 2026 by its customer ViP Verkehrsbetrieb Potsdam GmbH (ViP), part of the Stadtwerke Potsdam group, concerning the cancellation of the agreement for the supply of 23 electric buses. Ebusco regrets this decision, is reviewing the matter and will respond in substance within the term already communicated to ViP later this week.
Ebusco announced this order on 4 January 2024. It comprises 10 Ebusco 3.0 12-meter buses and 13 Ebusco 3.0 18-meter buses.
By letter dated 23 July 2026 and received on 29 July 2026, ViP declared the extraordinary termination of the agreement. Ebusco responded in writing on 3 August 2026, announcing that it objects to the cancellation of the bus order and will set out its substantive position by 14 August 2026. Ebusco regrets that ViP made this step public while the parties were still in dialogue over recent weeks on the delivery schedule and the associated commercial terms, and while Ebusco’s response was still outstanding. Ebusco reserves all its rights.
ViP has indicated that it reserves claims against Ebusco. Ebusco is currently studying the matter as a whole, including the potential financial impact of the termination and the claims, and aims to address this in its results for the first half of 2026.
Ebusco will publish its results for the first half of 2026 on Friday, 14 August 2026.
